Jatin Desai

Jatin has over two decades of global experience​ s​panning ​Investment​s​ & ​​Technology​/​Operations ​roles. ​He has been involved with the startup ecosystem in India for the past few years & was also part of the US startup ecosystem in the mid to late 90s. Prior to joining Parampara, he was the CIO of Bank of America ​& DSP ​Merrill Lynch in India In his CIO role – Jatin was also part of Country Leadership Team of ​the Bank which had oversight all of the bank’s business and operations locally and ​a member of LMT​ (equivalent of the Board of the ​B​ank​ ​in India). ​Before joining the bank, Jatin spent several years in US​,​ EMEA​ & India​ in various roles in Technology & Consulting ​- dealing with Wall Street ​firms, Fortune 500 companies, and SMEs/startup ecosystem ​before returning back to India in late 2004. ​At Parampara, along with fund team, Jatin led fund’s first exit from SCube Futuretech to a US strategic buyer. In his post-investment role, he is a Board Observer for multiple portfolio companies & also mentors them as needed.
